The Head of Marketing will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our company. This position is designed for an experienced marketing professional with extensive knowledge & experience in the iGaming industry, possessing a deep understanding of client acquisition, retention strategies specific to the iGaming sector.  

This position requires a creative, data-driven »vyking« with strong communicational skills, the ability to adapt to the fast-evolving IT & iGaming market, using insights to continuously refine strategies and achieve measurable results. 

As this role combines strategic and operational responsibilities and tasks, it is also required to be hands-on in operational topics such as developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive marketing campaigns across multiple channels aimed at maximizing brand awareness, exposure and profitability. Alongside passion for the industry, this role builds on strong communicational skills, digital and technical expertise, good problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

Together with our Sales & Product Management experts, the Head of Marketing ensures consistent brand messaging, analyses consumer behavior, and identifies market expansion opportunities while building strong internal and external networks and partnerships, managing external Marketing & Sales services providers and business partners.  

Duties & Responsibilities

Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies and plans focused on customer retention

  • Tailor campaigns to target key segments such as casino, sportsbook, poker, and other gaming verticals

  • Overseeing and effectively managing of marketing roadmap activities and related annual budget

Campaign and Brand Management:

  • Lead digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including paid media (PPC), SEO, social media with a strong emphasis on positioning our product

  • Continuous development and strengthening of the company’s brand identity and image in consultation with senior management and partners

Market Research:

  • Stay updated with the latest trends in the iGaming industry, including emerging technologies, market demands, and competitor activity

  • Adapt marketing strategies to maintain a competitive edge 

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Provide regular reports on all marketing activities, initiatives and campaign effectiveness, insights, and opportunities for growth to senior management

  • Use data to recommend optimizations and innovations in marketing strategies

  • Consistently identify new or expanded revenue opportunities and strategize the implementation of plans 

Data-Driven Insights:

  • Analyse marketing and campaign performance using industry-specific KPIs

  • Make data-driven adjustments to optimize future plans, activities and campaigns

Internal collaboration & communication:

  • Work to continuously ensure the company marketing goals are communicated across the entire organization

  • Improve the company’s marketing outreach efforts 

Qualifications

Educational background & Work experience required 
  • Digital Marketing Experience: Education or certifications in marketing, digital marketing (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, SEO) or iGaming industry specific certifications are advantageous. 5+ years of solid marketing experience in a fast-paced work environment and industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role within the iGaming industry 

  • Project Management: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to juggle multiple marketing initiatives, campaigns, 3rd management and deadlines simultaneously

  • Industry Experience: Strong understanding of the iGaming ecosystem, adapting to the rapidly changing iGaming landscape quickly. Track record of managing multichannel marketing campaigns with measurable results, including ROI, conversion rates.

  • Analytics & Data Interpretation: Expertise in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to iGaming, using tools like Google Analytics, BI tools, and CRM software

  • Marketing Automation: Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo)  

  • Content Management: Strong skills in content creation and management 

Skills & Competencies required 
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, external partners. Ability to present data-driven insights and strategies to senior leadership. Combination of communication & creativity will be essential in content creation and story telling  

  • Adaptability: Ability to stay agile and adapt to the fast-paced, ever-evolving nature of the iGaming industry, responding to market shifts and new trends 

  • Customer-Centric Mindset: focus on creating personalized, engaging content / campaigns that increase loyalty and retention but also brand awareness and visibility on organizational side

  • Creativity: Ability to create innovative and engaging marketing campaigns

  • Language: Native level English is an absolute must for the requirements of this position
